Current and Planned Activities
Throughout the next year, the Lower Boise Watershed Council plans the following activities:
- Continue to assist stakeholders in securing additional funding to implement TMDL requirements for sediment, bacteria, and phosphorus in lower Boise River.
- Actively and effectively participate on local and regional water quality issues.
- Assist with the Lake Lowell TMDL.
- Begin the implementation planning process for TMDLs on the tributaries.
- Continue testing, sampling, and monitoring, in cooperation with the USGS, to characterize water quality in the lower Boise River watershed.
